Our First Home

We bought our first home- a 2 story, 1500 sq ft townhome in April of 2007. We love our home and have done quite a bit to it already including getting a lot of new furniture and painting the entire house. We love our house and can't wait to add all kinds of elements to it! We were lucky because we got hardwood floors, granite counter tops and high ceilings.

The Re-Finished Hutch

This was Kevin's late grandmother's hutch. Kevin's mom was about to donate it to charity and I thought it would be the perfect piece to go against the wall behind our dining room table. We had it refinished (it was a medium wood color) to a glossy black finish and it is truly the perfect piece of furniture. It has tons of storage, looks great and is a true family heirloom. We also switched out the original hardware for more modern crystal hardware.
